Privacy Policy
Overview
SubTrack (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Avelio Labs, is a local-first subscription tracker for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how SubTrack handles information when you use the app.
Your subscription data stays on your device. SubTrack does not require an account and does not sync your data to our servers.
Information we store on your device
SubTrack may store the following locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Subscription details you enter (name, amount, billing cycle, dates, category, notes)
- Payment / history records you create in the app
- App preferences (currency, theme, reminder settings, notification preferences)
- Optional home-screen widget snapshots derived from your local data
This information is stored using on-device storage (such as the app database and related local files). We do not operate a SubTrack cloud backend that receives this content.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide a password
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not use your subscription data for advertising profiling
- We do not upload your subscription list to Avelio Labs servers
Notifications
If you enable reminders, SubTrack schedules local notifications on your device so you can be alerted before renewals. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings at any time.
Widgets
If you add the SubTrack widget, limited upcoming-payment information may be shared with the widget extension through an on-device App Group so the widget can display it. This data remains on your device.
Third-party services
Some service icons may be loaded from publicly available favicon providers when you add known services. That request typically includes only a domain needed to fetch an icon image and is not used by us to build a profile about you.
If in-app purchases or App Store services are used in the future, Apple may process purchase-related information under Apple’s own privacy terms.
Data retention & deletion
Because data is stored locally, you control it. Deleting the SubTrack app removes on-device app data associated with it (subject to iOS behavior for backups you may have made). You can also remove individual subscriptions inside the app.
Children’s privacy
SubTrack is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of SubTrack after an update means you accept the revised policy.
